Alka Financial engages most professionals as independent contractors under federal and Louisiana law. Independent experts control their schedules, tools, and client management practices, and are compensated per engagement via Form 1099.
As a Louisiana-based firm collaborating with experts across the U.S. and abroad, we comply with IRS and state classification standards. Contractors are responsible for their own tax filings, insurance, and business expenses. Alka Financial provides project-based support, technology access, and quality-assurance review to maintain compliance, accuracy, and confidentiality for all client deliverables.
